Meet MAJOR SWING a South Florida swing band for all occasions. An eclectic band that plays real music, made by hand, in live performances. Major Swing covers the gamut of genres, from the prewar jazz standards of the Hot Club of France to the most beloved hits of the sixties on up. Soulful ballads, show tunes and bluesy R&B, (with an occasional original tune) will take you on a tour of the artists and music that has stood up over the test of time.

Since childhood Marguerite has performed in concert bands playing clarinet, bass clarinet, and alto saxophone, plus ensemble singing  and performing as a soloist. Margarita is a national and international vocalist, mezzo soprano. Her genres includes classical, pop, Broadway, jazz, blues, disco, sacred, and contemporary music. Margarita performs at school events, concerts, luncheons, teas, graduations, religious  events, weddings, and community events. Marguerite has traveled around the country and abroad to sing in England and Israel. She performs locally as a soloist and a member of Nova Singers.

Jono Deleon  

              As a boy Jono Deleon grew up singing Beatles songs accompanying his father on piano, and drives the Miami-based nonprofit Guitars Over Guns Organization, whose mission is to empower inner-city youth by providing musical instruments and training. He also runs the music program for a North Miami Elementary school. Jono sings and plays a variety of styles and plays keyboards as well as guitars.

Patrick Mason 

Pat switched from trumpet to guitar at twelve after a Hendrix concert and never looked back. In college he played in rock and blues bands at Syracuse University, and took up acoustic guitar to accompany singer songwriters. He later studied jazz. A trip to Ireland got him playing the Irish genre which eventualy led to forming Cornbread, the house band for the Broward Contradance. He loves to write and authored an award-winnng book in 2006. He met Jono at the annual Django fest in June. Pat has an extensive songbook and provides original material for the band.
